Photo caption: September was childhood cancer awareness month and members of the Copiague Middle School Student Council helped by supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand. In an effort to raise awareness to staff and students, the student council sold pens and bracelets during school hours. They raised more than $200 for the childhood cancer foundation.
